Mon fils Thibault, 19 ans et son copain Cyril, 20 ans, sont partis pendant les vacances de Pâques en routards au Sénégal.

My son Thibault, 19 years old and his friend Cyril, 20 years, left during the Easter holiday travelers in Senegal.

Jeudi 10 avril : Dakar - Rufisque
Arrivée à l’aéroport de Dakar à 20h15 ; nous sommes accueillis par la famille qui va nous héberger deux nuits sur Rufisque.
Vendredi 11 avril : Rufisque
Visite d’une ferme et du centre ville et du quartier où nous logeons (Fass). Déplacements en voiture de location avec chauffeur.
Samedi 12 avril : Rufisque - Guedji
Trajet en voiture de location avec chauffeur, arrêt à Bandia pour visiter la réserve. Trajet Mbour - Mbodienne en voiture puis route jusqu’à Guedji en calèche. Nuit à Guedji dans une famille (2 nuits).
Dimanche 13 avril : Guedji
Lundi 14 avril : Guedji - Ndangane
Trajet Guedji – Mbodienne en calèche. Trajet Mbodienne –Fadiouth en taxi. Visite de l’île au coquillage (Fadiouth).
Trajet Fadiouth Ndangane en taxi brousse 7 places (9 personnes dans le véhicule). Nuitée en campement à Ndangane (deux nuits).
Mardi 15 avril : Ndangane
Ballades en calèche et en pirogue, île de Mar Lodj.
Mercredi 16 avril : Ndangane - Foundiougne )
Trajet en taxi brousse (33 personnes) en direction de Diousmoun, puis 2ème taxi brousse de Diousmoun vers Tattaguine, Diouroup et Fatick et, enfin, taxi à Fatick pour rejoindre le bac pour Foundiougne.
Nuit à Foundiougne dans une famille.
Jeudi 17 avril : Foundiougne - Banjul (Gambie)
Nous louons une voiture avec chauffeur pour cinq jours.
Départ en direction de la Gambie par Passy, Sokone et Toubakouta. Passage de la frontière et bac pour rejoindre Banjul.
Route jusqu’à Banjul, nuit dans une famille.
Vendredi 18 avril : Banjul (Gambie) – Ziguinchor (Sénégal)
Départ de Banjul, passage de la frontière en passant par Diouloulou jusqu’en bord de mer à Kafountine. Passage par Diouloulou jusqu’au sud par Bignona jusqu’à Ziguinchor. Visite de la ferme de Djibelor. Nuitée à Ziguinchor dans une famille.
Samedi 19 avril : Ziguinchor - Kolda
Départ de Ziguinchor vers Bignona, Bounkiling et Kolda, la route plus directe, au sud, étant en trop mauvais état. Nuitée à Kolda dans une famille.
Dimanche 20 avril : Kolda – village sur la route de Kaolack (?)
Départ de Kolda jusqu’à Tambacounda, arrêt déjeuner. Départ l’après-midi en direction de Kaolack mais arrêt pour la nuit à mi-distance, les routes étant dans un état épouvantable, nuit dans une auberge.
Lundi 21 avril : ? - Rufisque
Route jusqu’à Kaolack, arrêt déjeuner puis route en direction de Rufisque en passant par Mbour. Nuitée à Rufisque dans une famille.
Mardi 22 avril: Rufisque - Dakar
Trajet Rufisque – le Lac Rose (Lac Retba) en taxi brousse.
Promenade dans les dunes de sable, baignade en bord de mer et visite du lac.
Retour vers Rufisque en taxi brousse, départ pour Dakar en bus.
Nuitée à Dakar dans une famille.
Mercredi 23 avril : Dakar – Ile de Gorée
Visite de l’île de Gorée
Départ pour Paris par vol à 22h55.
Thursday April 10: Dakar - Rufisque
Arrival at Dakar airport at 20:15, we are greeted by a family who will host us two nights at Rufisque.
Friday April 11: Rufisque
Visit of a farm, the city center and the area where we live, called Fass. Travel by rental car with a driver.
Saturday April 12: Rufisque - Guedji
Travel by car rental with a driver, we stop at Bandia to visit the reserve. Mbour - Mbodienne journey by car and then road to Guedji in horse-drawn carriage. Night at Guedji in a family (2 nights).
Sunday April 13: Guedji
Monday April 14: Guedji - Ndangane
Guedj - Mbodienne journey in horse-drawn carriage. Mbodienne - Fadiouth journey by taxi. Visit of the shellfish island (Fadiouth).
Fadiouth - Ndangane journey by taxi bush 7 seats (9 people in the vehicle). Overnight in Ndangane camp (two nights).
Tuesday April 15: Ndangane
Tour by carriage and boat, Mar Lodj Island
Wednesday April 16: Ndangane - Foundiougne
Bush taxi ride (33 people) to Diousmoun, then 2nd bush taxi to Tattaguine, Diouroup and Fatick and, finally, in bus to reach the ferry to Foundiougne.
Overnight in Foundiougne in a family.
Thursday April 17: Foundiougne - Banjul (Gambia)
We rent a car and a driver for five days.
Departure towards the Gambia by Passy, Sokone and Toubakouta. Border crossings and ferry to get to Banjul.
Road to Banjul, night in a family.
Friday April 18: Banjul (Gambia) - Ziguinchor (Senegal)
We leave Banjul, border crossing through Diouloulou to reach the beachfront and the village of Kafountine. We cross Diouloulou, Bignona. Visit of the Djibelor farm. Overnight in Ziguinchor in a family.
Saturday April 19: Ziguinchor - Kolda
Departure from Ziguinchor to Bignona, Bounkiling and Kolda, the more direct route to the south being in too poor condition. Overnight in Kolda in a family.
Sunday 20 April: Kolda - a village on the road to Kaolack (?)
Departure from Tambacounda to Kolda, stop lunch. Departure in the afternoon in the direction of Kaolack but overnight stop midway, roads are in a terrible state, night in a hostel.
Monday April 21: village on the road to Kaolack (?) - Rufisque
Road to Kaolack, lunch stop, then road to Rufisque through Mbour. Overnight in Rufisque in a family.
Tuesday April 22: Rufisque - Dakar
journey Rufisque - the Pink Lake (Lake Retba) in bush taxi.
Walk in the sandy dunes, swimming in the sea and visit of the lake.
Back to Rufisque by bush taxi, departure for Dakar by bus.
Overnight in Dakar in a family.
Wednesday April 23: Dakar - Goree Island
Visit of Goree island
Departure for Paris by evening flight at 22h55.
