Croisière Ramses II avec Fram - avril 2007 Voici le détail de notre circuit : Samedi 31 mars : France - Louxor
Vol, transfert et installation à bord du bateau.
Dimanche 1er avril : Louxor - Karnak
Visite du temple de Karnak, puis de celui de Louxor
Lundi 2 avril : Thèbes
Visite de la nécropole de Thèbes, située sur la rive gauche du Nil : la vallée des Rois, puis Medinet Habou, les colosses de Memnon. Navigation à destination d'Edfou en passant par l'écluse d'Esna.
Mardi 3 avril : Edfou - Kom Ombo
À Edfou, départ pour la visite du temple d'Horus, navigation à destination de Kom Ombo et visite du temple ptolémaïque.
Mercredi 4 avril : Assouan - Abou Simbel
Excursion à Abou Simbel en avion Jeudi 5 avril : Assouan - Philae Découverte du Haut Barrage, puis visite du temple de Philae. Promenade en felouque autour de l'île Éléphantine, promenade en bateau vers la réserve nubienne.
Vendredi 6 avril : Louxor
Départ en navigation à destination de Louxor via Edfou. Visite du temple de Dendera.
Samedi 7 avril : Louxor - Le Caire
Journée libre à Louxor : farniente sur le pont du bateau, nous profitons de la piscine. Shopping à Louxor et visite du Musée. Envol en fin de journée vers Le Caire Dimanche 8 avril : Le Caire Visite de la citadelle de Saladin, de la mosquée de Mohamed Ali, du musée des Antiquités Égyptiennes puis temps libre au bazar Khan El Khalili. Lundi 9 avril : Alexandrie
Départ en autocar à destination d'Alexandrie, visite des Catacombes de Kom El Choqafa, du fort de Qatbay, de la nouvelle bibliothèque d'Alexandrie, de son musée archéologique. Mardi 10 avril : Memphis - Sakkara - Guizeh
Visite de Sakkara, du musée archéologique de Memphis et visite du plateau de Guizeh (les pyramides de Kéops, Kefren et Mykerinos, le Sphynx)
Mercredi 11 avril : Le Caire - France
c'est fini, nous rentrons au bercail !... Mon avis Très beau circuit mais il aurait fallu commencer par Le Caire. Terriblement impressionnés par le site d'Abou Simbel qui prend aux tripes, nous avons été déçus par les Pyramides, ce qui est un comble !... Sites magnifiques, à voir et à revoir ! Excellent guide mais le temps était compté sur les sites, après les explications, il n'y avait pas suffisament de temps à notre goût pour découvrir les sites et faire nos photos. A revoir absolument en individuels cette fois. Le bateau était bien, confortable, bonnes prestations côté hébergement, restauration (sauf la piscine sur le pont qui tient plus de la pataugeoire !) mais il y a tant de bateaux de ce style qui naviguent sur le Nil que cela fait vraiment trop tourisme de masse.

Visit of the Karnak temple, and then of Luxor temple
Monday, April 2: Thebes
Visit of the necropolis of Thebes, situated on the left bank of the Nile Valley of the Kings, then Medinet Habu, the Colossi of Memnon. Navigation to Edfu through Esna lock.
Tuesday, April 3: Edfu - Kom Ombo

Wednesday, April 4: Aswan - Abu Simbel
Excursion to Abu Simbel by plane
Thursday, April 5: Aswan - Philae
Discovery of the High Dam, then visit of the Temple of Philae. Trip in felucca around the Elephantine island then boat ride to the Nubian reserve .
Friday, April 6: Depart sailing to Luxor via Edfu.
Visit of the Temple of Dendera.
Saturday, April 7: Luxor - Cairo
Free day in Luxor: laze on the deck, we enjoy the pool
Shopping in Luxor and visit of the museum.
Late flight to Cairo
Sunday, April 8: Cairo
Visit of the citadel of Saladin, the mosque of Mohamed Ali, the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities and then free time at Khan El Khalili bazaar.
Lundi 9 April: Alexandria
Departure by bus for Alexandria, visit of the Catacombs of Kom El Choqafa, Fort Qatbay, the new library of Alexandria, its archaeological museum.
Tuesday, April 10: Memphis - Sakkara - Giza
Visit of Sakkara, the Archaeological Museum in Memphis, visit of the Giza plateau (the pyramids of Keops, Kefren and Mykerinos, the Sphynx)
Wednesday, April 11: Cairo - France
It's over, we are back home !
My opinion on the tour :
Very nice tour, but it would be better to begin it by Cairo. Terribly impressed by the site of Abu Simbel, which takes the guts, we were disappointed by the Pyramids, which is a peak ... Beautiful sites.
Excellent guide
The boat was well, comfortable, good performances regarding lodging, meals (except on the pool deck that takes more than paddling!), but there is so much of this kind of boats that sail on the Nile that it is really too mass tourism.
