Le temple ptolémaïque de Hathor à Dendera
Située à 65 km au nord de Louxor, Dendérah (Dendara, Denderah, Dendéra ou Dendera) était la capitale du VIe nome de Haute-Égypte, et sa nécropole abrite des tombeaux creusés entre l'époque prédynastique et la fin de l'Ancien Empire. Il doit sa notoriété au célèbre temple d'Hathor, qui dans son état actuel remonte à la période gréco-romaine.
Located 65 km north of Luxor, Dendera (Dendara, Denderah, Dendéra or Dendera) was the capital of the sixth nome of Upper Egypt, and his necropolis has burial tombs excavated between the predynastic period to the end of the Old Kingdom . It owes its fame to the famous temple of Hathor, which in its current form dates back to the Greco-Roman period.
